15.2 is... 14.2!
They do it every year: put one WOD from last year into the Open again. I'm glad it was this one. It was a lot of fun because everyone was able to increase their score the second (or third, or fourth) time doing this workout. Carla actually tried it scaled, then re-did it five minutes later as RXed and got a better score! (You'll have to ask her about that one.)
Overhead squats and pull-ups go back to the basic elements of CrossFit, and they're two skills we hope to help everyone master. It just so happens that they're the focus of a lot of our work this month. The WOD itself breaks out of the typical task-priority or time-priority (AMRAP) mold of most CrossFit WODs. This one is about energy management, knowing when to pace yourself so you can save some juice for the next 3 minutes, then knowing when to sprint in order to move on to another 3-minute round. We also plan to train these skills with the interval workouts we're practicing more often this month.
CrossFit RHC is a small group personal training class that optimizes fitness by using varied functional movements performed at high intensity. Using a combination of barbell training, bodyweight gymnastics, and cardio, CrossFit prepares you for any physical contingency known and unknown.

Our CrossFit instructors can conduct personal training in the X-Studio just like any of our other Personal Trainers, but they are qualified specifically to help out with CrossFit skills, such as:
-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
