Handstands, like pull-ups, are one of those hot-button emotional issues. Everyone has their own strong feelings and preferences about how to do them and how to train for them. I am of the camp that believes chest-to-wall handstand holds are superior to kicked-up handstand holds. Not to say that kick-ups aren't useful, they do have their time and place. However, when practicing a handstand hold the goal is to develop strength and stability from head to toe. A few pictures comparing kick-ups with chest-to-walls will quickly show you which one is more strong and stable based on the quality of alignment between pelvis and rib cage.

Here we see improved alignment of the pelvis and ribcage, leading to a more stable midline and a stronger, more balanced position.

-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
