We're trying something new this month. For two days out of the week, we're going to work on upper body strength above all else. There will still be a WOD on those days, but it will be short and not the main focus of the class. I can already hear the objections:
"It looks like bodybuilding!"
"It's just boring strength-training, I want high intensity!"
"My arms hurt!"
And I can refute those objections with one hyphenated word: Pull-ups. If you guys want to get real pull-ups, you're gonna have to put in a lot of work. No matter how many times you do Angie, Fran, and Lynne with bands or ring rows, they won't get you to your first strict pull-up. Pull-ups require dedicated strengthening of the lats, rotator cuff, and biceps. So, that's what we're going to do. Call it tough love. I love you and want you to achieve your pull-up goals, that's why I'm putting you through this.

Our CrossFit instructors can conduct personal training in the X-Studio just like any of our other Personal Trainers, but they are qualified specifically to help out with CrossFit skills, such as:
-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
