The relentless upper-body strength training continues this month on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS. So, no matter when you come to class, you can expect to always see an upper-body strength-dominant workout on those two days, with a shorter conditioning piece at the end. This means that Tuesdays and Wednesdays will feature lower body/total body strength workouts and longer "workouts of the day".
This Monday's workout started with 6 rounds of pull-ups and dips, then 5 rounds of chin-over-bar holds and unilateral KB presses, then 3 rounds of ring rows and y-rows. This volume of work might seem excessive, but it really is necessary to get you guys where you want to be with pull-ups. If you saw my workout on shoulder day, you would cry... All of you should be doing this much upper body strengthening 3 times per week, so make sure you keep up with it on your off days, and come in for the Saturday homework.

Our CrossFit instructors can conduct personal training in the X-Studio just like any of our other Personal Trainers, but they are qualified specifically to help out with CrossFit skills, such as:
-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
