The CrossFit Games Open Competition is upon us again. This weekend it was "16.3" with power snatches and bar muscle-ups. The crux of this WOD was the Bar Muscle-Up, which basically involves a powerful kipping pull-up that brings you high enough over the bar that you're able to perform a dip up to a supported position above the bar. In order to do this, you need to be able to create "global extension" (the entire body is extended) at the bottom of the rep and quickly snap your body into "global flexion" (the entire body is flexed). Our CrossFit instructors can conduct personal training in the X-Studio just like any of our other Personal Trainers, but they are qualified specifically to help out with CrossFit skills, such as:
-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
