Today was a choose-your-own-adventure workout. There will be a few more of these coming up in September. The main reason is that it's foolish to try to create a "one size fits all" approach to fitness. There is no one fitness program that works well for everyone, and we see that in the frequent variety of scaling/substitutions/progressions people use in the workouts. Giving you a choice lets you work on the skills that are most important to you while also advancing the agenda of the CrossFit program: to increase all-around fitness.
The same principle is at play in setting personal goals. Everyone's goals will be different. For some it's important to target a weakness, others want to further develop their strengths. By attaching a timeline to these goals, we keep them in the realm of achievable reality. If you're not able to achieve a goal in your chosen timeline, it's important to revisit that goal. Decide on something a bit smaller, a bit easier, closer to your abilities. Once you've achieved that moderate goal, go on to a harder goal. A series of small goals achieved adds up to a large goal. That's a lot better than setting an insurmountable goal and beating yourself up over not achieving it.

CrossFit RHC is a small group personal training class that optimizes fitness by using varied functional movements performed at high intensity. Using a combination of barbell training, bodyweight gymnastics, and cardio, CrossFit prepares you for any physical contingency known and unknown.

Our CrossFit instructors can conduct personal training in the X-Studio just like any of our other Personal Trainers, but they are qualified specifically to help out with CrossFit skills, such as:
-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
