Another total body lifting session to start things out on Wednesday, with Sumo Deadlift High Pulls and Push Presses. The idea with both these lifts is to generate force from an aggressive hip drive in order to move the weight. So, the SDHP is not really a "high pull" using the arms, it's more comparable to a KB swing that goes up instead of out, while the push press is kind of like jumping the weight into the air.
This led us into "Fight Gone Bad", another classic CrossFit WOD. This one simulates a MMA fight, with 3 or 5 rounds of five minutes high-rep explosive movements punctuated by 1-minute rests. If you tried 3 rounds this time, you should try 5 rounds next time.

-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
