Today marked the beginning of a new strength cycle that is going to carry us right up to the new year. We're starting over with high rep ranges, from 12-15, and we'll work our way gradually down to 3-rep max tests in December. With this persistent weight-training, we're going to add to everyone's all-around strength and ensure new PRs along the way. As a baseline body-weight assessment, we started this cycle with the old-school "official CrossFit warmup".
The WOD was a fun, but simple, partner row. You and your partner had to reach 4000 meters, but you could strategize and distribute the work however you pleased. This made for an extremely intense workout as each partner was trying to simultaneously outdo and impress the other. We had a couple new guys drop-in in the afternoon, so this was a great introduction to CrossFit for them.

Our CrossFit instructors can conduct personal training in the X-Studio just like any of our other Personal Trainers, but they are qualified specifically to help out with CrossFit skills, such as:
-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
