We often work on our handstands by kicking up against the wall. That's convenient, but there's a downside. A kicked-up handstand usually doesn't resemble the proper alignment we want in a stable, strong handstand. Kicking up often puts us in a banana shape, with some part of our body slumped against the wall. Ideally, in the handstand we'd have our arms in a straight-line with our torso (no angle at the shoulders), our pelvis lined-up over our ribcage, and our mid-section hollow (tight abs and buns, with a pelvic tilt). The best way to practice this positioning is actually to walk up the wall into a chest-to-wall handstand. That's what we practiced on Monday. Then, after learning what better alignment feels like, we practiced free-standing handstands on the floor with a partner holding our feet.

-Improving weightlifting technique (Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, Press)
-Developing gymnastic progressions (such as muscle-ups & handstand push-ups)
-Improving WOD scores & times
Prices are the same as Personal Training, starting at $65/hr, with lower hourly prices when purchased in larger packages or as monthly recurring services, conveniently auto-billed to their club account.
