About
Born and raised in Anacortes Washington and moved to Mount Vernon in 2008. Loved sports and fitness all my life playing basketball and many other sports growing up- my love for group fitness started in my early teenage years when I began attending classes with my Mom. I know use my love for sports to coach my own children teams and kids from our community.
Work Philosophy
My Philosophy on health and fitness is teaching people to use moderation in their diet and find an exercise routine that motivates them to come back for more. I believe in finding something you love so you will continue on that path of fitness and not dread the routine. Keeping the workouts varying and changing is key to keep you on your toes and having fun while working hard.
Ideal Client
Ideally the clients I work with are able bodied. This doesn’t mean you have to be able to perform push ups from your toes or be able to lift any certain number of weight to walk in to RX class. I love working with people who have a past of sports and fitness and have fallen away and are eager to get back at it. I also thoroughly enjoy working with people who are currently active, motivated and would like to be challenge to the next level of their fitness. Pushing people out of their comfort zone to increase results is my desire for all in my class. I am enthusiastic about your goals. I want to know what they are and I want to help you progress from a to z.
Results
I have been able to help many different members build a workout routine that encourages them and pushes their limits. Being able to create a routine healthy habit for someone and to help them find a love of exercise is something I am proud of.
Qualifications
TRX certified
Insanity Live certified
Group Power certified
I have a lot of experience by participation in many different forms of exercise over the last 20 years. I coach youth sports in my free time as well.
