Carmine LaFleur joined the Riverside Health Club team after losing 50 pounds. She decided to make some personal and career changes after her obese father became paralyzed from having a stroke.

Carmine started managing the Eastside club in 2004 and became a certified trainer in 2005. She also has two group fitness certifications, and enjoys teaching several classes. She finds pleasure in helping other people achieve the type of lifestyle that she can now enjoy.
Carmine understands how intimidating a new gym can be and makes it a point to make her clients feel at ease.Carmine enjoys carrying on her healthy lifestyle with her children by cooking healthy meals and riding bikes with them. She also loves to hike, snowboard, and camp, which she can do at ease now that she is healthy and strong.

Allison Townsend
personal trainer |
|
Allison joined Riverside Eastside in 2003 after the birth of her third child and successfully lost over 70 pounds through healthy eating and exercise. Through her wonderful experience she developed a passion to help other people get on the right path to a healthy lifestyle.
Allison started out as a shy participant in classes. She developed an interest in teaching a strength class and approached the fitness director about becoming a group fitness instructor. Although Allison had outstanding technique and extensive knowledge, her quietness was of concern. She went through thorough training and testing and broke out of her shell becoming outgoing instructor in 2005 . As her passion for the fitness industry grew even more, Allison decided to become a personal trainer and got her World Instructor Training School (WITS) certification in 2006. Allison planned and is leading the Eastside Fitness Challenge which is a boot camp inspired group personal training program. Allison’s passion for the fitness industry only keeps growing stronger. She is continuing to grow in her career by getting her Associate in Technical Arts (ATA) degree and Medical Assistant Certificate, with a strong interest in rehabilitative medicine.
Allison enjoys running outdoors and spending time with her husband, Chris, and their three children during her free time.
