Update as of 1/8/2021
Good News!! We will be re-opening the gym as of Monday, January 11.
How much we will be open and what that looks like will depend on which phase we are in. The Governor's Office created a website that allows us to determine each Friday which phase we will be in so that we are able to implement the phase changes on the following Monday. Here is what the different phases mean for you as a member: PHASE 1
PHASE 2
Mount Vernon:
DUES QUESTIONS: For those of you who paid no dues in December and January, your membership will still be reinstated on January 11. However, you will only be charged for a single week of January dues. We can't wait to see you on Monday. Let's do this! |
Update as of 12/30/20

We will continue to operate under the guidelines we receive from the state and local officials and work hard to keep our members & staff safe. We can’t guarantee a lot in this environment, but we CAN promise you hard work and integrity.

Regarding Membership dues: November 18, 2020
Dear Riverside Health Club members,
As you know, the governor has ordered that gyms be shut down beginning November 17. We are so sorry to be here again. We will be offering as much as we are allowed during this time to help keep you moving! Here is a reminder of what we CAN do:
Aquatic Center: With registration, we are still able to provide access to the pools for lap swimming and water-walkers. This will be available to paying members. You will soon be able to register for the hot tub and sauna as well. Swim lessons are also allowed.
Group Fitness: We will be livestreaming in the Riverside Health Club Facebook Group with as many of your favorite group fitness classes as possible! This will be available to paying members.
Personal Training: Existing clients may continue with their sessions. New clients may sign up for a trainer special of 5 sessions for $199. That's a great deal for training AND it gets you almost exclusive access to the facility!
While we are fighting to offer all that we can, services have been limited once again. So – here we are again in need of your input, and in need of your support. We humbly ask you to support us in any way you are able to help us stay in business.
Please let us know how you can help. Here are your payment options during the closure:
· Keep my dues as they are (Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!)
· Charge me $25/month during closure (We're all in this together - Thank you!)
· Put my membership on freeze for a $10/month freeze fee during closure (Thank you!)
· Put my membership on hold and charge me $0 during closure (We are happy to support you!).
· Set me up with a trainer!
As always, you may email customerservice@riversidehealthclub.com with any questions. Please respond to this survey by November 25. That will give us time to process your choice before ABC Fitness Solutions begins drafting your December dues. Your normal rate will be reinstated when we open.
We are so grateful for you, our community.

Letter from the owners: November 15, 2020
Dear Members and Staff,
COVID-19 has affected all of us in so many ways. There are too many to count. The overall well being and safety of our members, staff, and community has always been our highest priority. At Riverside Health Club, we have done everything that was asked of us and more to keep COVID-19 from entering our doors. We have been successful during these 24 weeks of not having a single COVID case traced back to the club. While we are grateful for this, we are now entering a new chapter where we recognize that we need to do even more.
With the holidays coming and cases on the rise in our community, we will continue to do our part. We are writing today because we know many of you heard the Governor's address requiring gyms to close their doors for four weeks. This requirement will go into effect on Monday, November 16, at midnight. This news comes with devastating effects to our business and gym community, but with the hope that it will make a positive difference to the health of the broader community. We will do what is asked of us, but we have not given up hope that we can do BOTH - support the safety of the broader community AND provide for our gym community.
We have been on the phone with local government officials who are fighting for us today and tomorrow to see if we might be permitted to stay open with some adjustments, specifically the use of masks at all times. We feel this is a small price to pay to protect our business and community. We will continue to keep you posted as we receive updates, but know we are fighting hard for all involved. Thank you for your continued loyalty and dedication. We can't adequately express our gratitude for your support.
Sincerely,
Karen and Denise, Owners
Riverside Health Club
