PR  LEADERBOARD

Lifting RUles

  • ​Each participant gets 3 attempts per lift (Squat, Bench, Deadlift)​
  • Best successful lift in each category counts
  • All lifts must be observed and approved by a Riverside Trainer
 
Form and range of motion must meet standard criteria below:

SQUAT
  • Full depth: hip crease must pass below the top of the knee
  • No forward step or movement during the lift
  • Must stand fully upright at the finish

BENCH PRESS
  • Feet flat, glutes in contact with the bench
  • Full lockout at the top
  • No bounce or heaving off the chest
    ​
DEADLIFT
  • Conventional or sumo allowed
  • Bar must be pulled in one motion to full lockout (hips & knees extended, shoulders back)
  • No hitching​

We'll have three bodyweight classes for each division.
MEN'S DIVISION
Up to 165 lbs
166–199 lbs
200+ lbs

WOMEN'S DIVISION

Up to 135 lbs
136–165 lbs
166+ lbs

Archive: PR LEADERBOARD  KICK-OFF  DAY

We’re building something new at Riverside—and you have the chance to set the tone.

Join us Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 for the official kick-off of our Riverside Leaderboard. This is your shot to test your limits, set your PR, and claim your spot on the board.

THE LIFTS
We’ll be tracking PRs in three core lifts:
  • Bench Press
  • Back Squat
  • Deadlift

Each lift will be judged and verified by our Riverside trainers for fairness and consistency. Choose one, two, or go all in on all three.

THE DETAILS
  • Event Day Only (Aug 23): Every participant receives an exclusive Riverside T-shirt (while supplies last).
  • After Saturday, you can still get on the board by booking a one-on-one session with Stephen, our GM—but the T-shirt is a one-day-only perk.
  • Your name will stay on the leaderboard until someone else beats your score.

Not a member? No problem! Saturday is a free drop-in day. You’re welcome to lift (and grab a T-shirt) or simply come cheer on your crew. Please note: only members’ scores will be posted to the leaderboard.

REQUIREMENTS 
  • Must be 13+ to participate.
  • Ages 13–17 must be accompanied by a parent.
  • Valid ID required.
