I grew up in Auburn, Washington, where since childhood I've participated in a wide array of sports. To me, fitness has always been an empowering facet of my life. During my junior year of high school I discovered high jump. Which led me to walk on to the University of Montana's track team in college. Then, when I transferred schools I again walked on to Western Washington University's track team, where I became an All-American athlete, and still hold the school's outdoor high jump record. In college, I reached new heights (literally) when I realized the power of consistent training and nutrition.
Working out should be fun and empowering! Everyday that we get to move our body is a gift. I want every session to feel like a celebration of that gift through setting and achieving new goals. I aspire to help people move better in their day to day life, fitness to me isn't just about lifting heavier weights it's about enhancing your life as a whole.
Someone that is passionate about challenging themselves. Someone who is willing to have fun and isn't afraid of learning new exercises.
Getting a sense of empowerment from movement and fitness that leads to a sustained change in lifestyle habits.
