     Summer is flying by and there’s so much to enjoy and savor on these warm sunny days in the beautiful Northwest.         
   Hopefully you've hiked, swam, biked and explored some favorite and new places. My garden is producing well and my green bean vines grow a little higher each day--
they even found my sunflowers to climb!

Here’s a recipe for Zesty Green Beans: 
Kids and adults love the citrusy taste--simple and summery!
Zesty Green Beans
Makes 6 servings--¾ cup each

Preparation:
1. Wash beans, leave whole or break in half.
2. Heat oil in skillet, add green beans and lightly saute about 5 minutes.
3. Add orange juice, agave and stir to combine and lightly coat beans, then add orange zest, salt and pepper and serve.

Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh green beans
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 teaspoons honey or agave nectar
1 tablespoon zest from orange
Freshly ground pepper and sea salt to taste
