Zippy Salmon with Lime Sauce

      It's a new year - and time to focus on those healthy goals you promised yourself you would do in 2014. Now, that the holidays are over, let's focus on clean eating and making every bite count for good health. 
      Here's a quick-to-fix main dish made with salmon that is sure to please your palate. It's delicious and has a zip to it that you'll love. Serve it with a salad of mixed greens and instant brown rice. It will be on the table in half an hour from start to finish. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (Sriracha)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 1/4 lb. salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
Instructions:

Heat oven to 425 degrees. 
Whisk lime juice, honey or agave, hot sauce and salt together in small bowl. 
Place salmon on baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Pour lime juice mixture over fish. 
Roast salmon until cooked through and flakes easily - about 15 minutes. (Also could be grilled.)
Garnish with cilantro.
