"I have been a member of Riverside Health Club for about 2 years. I joined after my sister Dayna convinced me to get a fit, healthy lifestyle with her. We both saw each other in what we felt like was the worst shape of our lives. I saw the motivation in her eyes, so I agreed. I have always had a petite body, but never in shape or fit. I hated my body after having my daughter, I was so depressed and negative about how I looked and how clothes fit me. On days where I wanted to cry and felt sorry for myself, Dayna would push me to hit the gym with her. I always felt so much better after I did. I started to see some results and that motivated me even more. Soon we were hiking Oyster Dome with Ragnar girls and hitting the gym 5 days a week.
Dayna sat me down and encouraged me to change up my cardio routine and to lift heavier weights. About two weeks after doing what she said my results and gains were coming in exactly how I wanted. Having Dayna has made me realize if I believe in myself and never give up anything is possible, which is how I ended up joining the Olympic Weight Lighting Class. I weigh 130 pounds and can back squat 210 lbs. I can front squat 125 lbs and I can dead-lift 235 lbs. Dayna has such a passion to help others achieve their fitness goals, because she did what most people don't believe is possible: she lost 76 lbs.
